Use this program to create an encrypted file to transfer transaction data to 1099 Services. Unless data is shipped on magnetic media, use of this program is required, as it is safer than any other method of data protection available.
Use these templates to fill in your data for delivery to 1099 Services.
The Zip file contains the Excel spreadsheet
templates for all the form types.
The Filer Information header should be filled out for every unique filer for whom data
is submitted.
Hint: When sending data with the Encrypt1099 program, create one Zip file for each filer, which would contain one
Filer Information Excel file, and all form type data files that are to be submitted for that filer. That keeps all data logically
organized by filer.

Important: After sending data to 1099 Services, you should receive acknowledgement within 24 hours. If you do not receive
such notification, you should assume we did not receive your data, and please contact us.
